From the car park to NE, as others.PGCE13/12/2021
From the car pk to NE, as most. I found this a disappointing hill after the other Pewsey Hills-coarse grasses dominating the grassland, the main path and the trig in scrubby woodland and little sight of the antiquities. It looked so good from the start. Went over the field NW of trig- seemed a bit higher?pwheeler23/08/2021
Done this loads of times but this is the first time we've bothered to look for the trig point. Found easily enough. Had a picnic in one of the gnarly old beech trees near the summitekm21/08/2020

18 mile walk. Start Pewsey Station. Martinsell, Golden Ball, Milk Hill, Tan Hill and back over Milk Hill to pick up drove road back to Pewsey. Sadly this involved some pathless road walking so used canal towpath and A road which does have a pathtrimarc230/09/2019

Climbed from the E - terrific views to the S. I had trouble finding the trig. in the dense undergrowth, because it was further from the path than I was expecting. Found it at SU 17833 63881.Chris Peart14/06/2015
Near correct date. solo. From car park to north east.Pete West21/02/2014
Visited whilst bagging the trig. Good parking at Starlings Roost for short walk up or longer route can be taken along Tan Hill Way, southern escarpment of the Downs. Or visiting Giant's Grave. Beautiful part of Wiltshire - yes, they do exist.jonglew13/10/2012
Also a Dewey\'s notable hill.clivevilla24/08/2012
