Parked in the Bignor Hill Car Park at 97373 12928 and walked to Glatting Beacon, Farm Hill and Barlavington Down. Pleasant undulating walk and any crops had been harvested.clivevilla07/09/2022

Started from Bignor Hill CP and did a circle of Glatting Beacon, Farm Hill, Barlavington Down then down into Sutton through Bignor to West Burton. Up to Westburton Hill and then down to the roundabout to pick up Rewell Hill (easy approach from A284 via a cleared track). Slogged a mile up a very muddy track (thanks to some logging) and thought I should finish via Bignor Hill despite it's lack of qualification. A very enjoyable 13 miles in 4 hours 20.maltloaf21/01/2022

Solo from Bignor Hill car park. I then continued over Farm Hill and Barlavington Down which took less time than thought. Chose to then walk a circuit via St Mary church in Barlavington and round to Westburton Hill before back to Bignor Hill car park. A lovely autumnal day with no breeze and some early afternoon sunshine.Buck18/10/2020
at sunset on warm still evening with lovely rolling downland views. Luckily HP in stubble field, accessible via field boundaries and tractor tracks through ripe crops.Denise 20/07/2020
From the bridleway to NE then along fence line bounding the scrub access land to summit arable field very conveniently recently harvested. Levelish summit plateau with curving lines of stubble.RichardM20/07/2020

From Glatting Beacon, first along the bridleway, then straight up the S slope via gate. Summit area gained though saggy barbed wire. Easy, but it would have been better to continue on the bridleway and ascended the NE ridge. This was the way I went down and there is a farmers track on a broad verge by the fence (not the access land side) and no barbed wire to negotiate. Excellent views along much of this walk, continued to Barlavington Down.pwheeler04/09/2019

Short circular walk taking in Barlavington Down and Farm Hill from the layby on the road bend. Stubble fields so could take direct routes all the way.Herbert Anchovy12/09/2018

Had run over the shoulder of this hill many times, but for my last West Sussex Tump followed the field margin then tractor tram lines through the whispy barley to the summit on a lovely warm summers evening. Great views looking along the Downs. The farm is part of LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) and as such carries out green policies of land management and cultivation -with informative sign boards by the path.Chris Pearson05/07/2015
