Newhaven to Eastbourne coast path walk.fosal2901/08/2023
Quiet morning walk from Seaford. A really pleasant part of the East Sussex coast between here and Seven Sisters.hillbagger9122/07/2023
From free car park to E. Missed path going S down edge of golf course to join the coastal path, so ended up at the beacon, trapped by encircling gorse.Minto01/07/2023
Pleasant stroll along the coastal path - weather a little damp but brightened up on the return and have tea and cake on the beach cafe past the Martello towerBuck21/04/2023
From Gerald Road, Seaford BN25 1BE. Lovely hill with spectacular cliff views although the high point is only about a foot from the edge.clivevilla06/09/2022
Stunning coastal walk from Newhaven Marina. Cliff Edge.Denise 11/07/2022
Walked from Newhaven Marina. Superb chalk cliffs and coastal views. Highest point a grassy rise at cliff edge. Hot sunshine and wonderfully clear views today.RichardM11/07/2022
Circular morning stroll whilst on a nice family holiday in pleasant Seaford. Busy up here even early in the day, lots of twitchers. Cliffs are clearly eroding, bag this one before it vanishes (but cautiously!). It's worth visiting the excellent Seaford Museum in the Martello Tower near the foot of the hill - and if you've got time also walk west along the coast to the fascinating Tide Mills abandoned village out of the other side of Seaford.wheresthepath10/04/2022

Berwick to Newhaven Stations (Vanguard Way). Revisit - HP still looks as though it could shed at any moment.Smudge23/01/2022
From Seaford seafront parking. Followed FP and then a quick step over rope to HP. Good views as sun going down over to Seven Sisters.PeterD20/01/2022
From the Martello tower in Seaford along the coast path to Cuckmere Haven and inland return. The hp is in the roped off strip next to the crumbling cliff so you take your chances. Black redstart showing well at Splash Point near the start.milimana16/12/2021

Evening ascent from the end of the esplanade, by the light of a half-moon and a headtorch (taking care not to investigate what was south of the summit!).PGCE23/11/2020
Volumes of free parking on Seaford Esplanade. Evidently a rare siting of a Spanish vulture had been made but somebody playing the bagpipes must have frightened him back off to the Basque Country. Incidentally, lovely hill.Campbell Singer14/10/2020

Seven Sisters Walk with TonyByronHaywood01/08/2018
Flatish top, the HB HP has probably gone down the cliff like the 2 trig pillars have; unable to decide exactly where it currently is, but will probably need relocating after the next winter storm anyway.jonglew17/04/2018
Parked at the South Barn Nature Reserve CP at TV 50548 98001. Walked towards the Coast Guard cottages WOW great views of the Seven Sisters followed the coast path towards the Golf links, OS map shows a trig pillar on the summit but has long gone, lost to the seaTony Hartry30/10/2017
Parked at the end of Vanguard Way and walked up to summit. Plenty of signs of cliff erosion.Dugswell206/09/2016

To see the Seven Sisters in the sunshine!re142116/05/2015
A purple mottled sunset as the winter sun sank over the horizon. A nice grassy walk up the golf course (new clubhouse being built costing £1.7M). Trig missing - splash? The chalk cliffs reveal marine fossils from a shallow warm sea 200m higher than present from 89-86 million years ago when Britain was around 40°N (i.e latitude of Med today) During the most recent ice age, freezing winds deposited the crumbly sandy layer (loess) seen at the cliff top. http://www.discoveringfossils.co.uk/seaford_fossils.htmChris Pearson26/01/2015
