As others, decent parking against low wall at start of bridleway to west - Along bridleway for about 500m to end of plantation & an iron gate topped with bw - Over gate & up over sheep pasture to summit; one open gate.gerrybowes06/01/2024
Good bike circuit with Wessenden Head descent then steeply up to Pule Hill. Low cloud and drizzle initially improving nicely. East to Meltham Cop then Swinny Knoll (prickly ascent from S) and finally the long climb back to final hill - West Nab - my penultimate Ethel.steveb200604/01/2024

Parked to the West at the start of Dunnock road SE089118, then as Campbell Singer.David Evans03/06/2019
09.35 after a veggie breakfast in Morrisons in Meltham. Thin mist rolled in while I was skirting along the track round its south side looking for a gap that I could use. Didn't find one till a gate on the east side. Very thin mist had half dissipated by time I decided to come down the north slopes, now that I could now see where there was a gate at the NE corner of the field out on to the road.vegibagger07/01/2019
Parked just into farm track off minor road due W of hill. Over a stone wall and directly up to summit.jonglew27/12/2017

Residential road taken to B6110 then to Netherton before fp to Turbid lane, Whitehead lane, fp acros to Blackmoorfoot, on track along S-western flank, dropping onto Dunnock road and then climbing over one gate and then up past broken gate onto flat plateau. Walked along top gradually increasing height. Descent down steep slope to fence junction back onto track to follow Meltham way.Dazingdale06/11/2016
Solo. Alfie stayed by the barbed-wire fence and didn't summit. Horrible route up through gorse and brambles. Ripped my thumb on the barbed-wire!Dangerous Dave23/06/2016

Pull in at start of bridleway to the south (alt 859 ft). Head about 50m along this track then cross the wall, double back slighty, cross the fence and head upwards alongside the newly planted trees. 0.49 miles, 15 minutes return.moorsman15/12/2015

Parked near track to west then used footpath, then over collapsed wall, up beside fence until gap then into field which becomes very flat pasture at the top with Martin Richardson. Lovely view towards Blackmoorfoot Reservoir if you walk around the flat top.Dugswell224/11/2014

From the W, parked at end of rough track (Dunnock Road) just S of a pub. Track for short way then over wall at gap. Followed fence up hillside, past newly planted trees courtesy of 'Colne Valley Tree Society'. Over fence at top, along path which opens out onto broad gently rounded pasture. Returned down farm track.Aye Jimmy11/05/2014
