Parked in Konny Brook - street, and wandered around a bit.Minto29/06/2023
Permit parking only on all the residential streets but risked it for fifteen minutes. Wandered all over the area. Grid reference leads to land covered by a house in a cul de sac named Konny Brook. Solo.Dangerous Dave09/02/2022
Wandered along Kiln Road and around the houses.PGCE31/05/2020

Visited the various HP's, nothing conclusive. Then tried to reach Lidar summit. Closest was in Konny Brook/Blackwater where GPS put it 25m away behind a row of terrace houses, presumably in back gardens or in trees behind. No obvious access. Went round to Bradley Close but end was 50m away. Narrow gap at end of last house looked private. Access may be possible via Seevic College grounds to the E off Runnymede Chase?Aye Jimmy11/08/2019
Parked Bread and Cheese pub; walked along road to sign post. Pub Car Park seems higher. With K,J and M.The Captain11/03/2019
Another Essex roadside. They don't come more unexciting.Campbell Singer22/02/2018

Walked up from Benfleet station. Lovely loop through golf courses and woods. Off road for the most part.Mark Jackson24/07/2017
With Sarah and Kieron. From Thundersley Grove into London Road and up to junction where it becomes Kiln Road. Over pedestrian crossing to 84m spot height on south side. Tall trees close to pavement meant GPS only accurate to ±10-15m. Hot and sunny. Back the same way.mainnirnamfiadh05/07/2017
Parked on Thundersley Grove then walked along bridleway, had a look in the wood and a walk along Kiln Road.Dugswell201/09/2016
Near enough on the OS 84m spot height. I thought perhaps 40-50m E on Kiln Road maybe higher.jonglew31/07/2016
Started from Benfleet station. Turned off B road opposite school, having missed earlier turn onto path. Return path crosses golf course so care neededButeobuteo06/07/2016
Bonus bag on a daytrip to the seaside with th family. Not the most pleasant of hills!wheresthepath15/05/2016
part of walk around 5 tops from Leigh-on-Sea Station to Benfleet Station. Unpleasantly busy main road which I walked alongside for 10 to 15 mins. My escape was via Thundersley Glen to South Benfleettrimarc210/04/2016
Along south side of road from pub, by old sign post and beyond Traffic lights.PeterD08/12/2015

Parked at pub, had a drink and asked permission to park while I went for the walk, and walked down bridle way into thundersley glen via housing estate, and back up wooded path, never found the pond, but came out at the road. Very flat all along, summit could be where path comes out or in woods nearby, or along road, but my feeling that it was the beginning of the bridle way on the gravelly track beside the pub car park. My 3rd of a 4 tump day in Essex.pdantic15/07/2015
On the old A13 to Southend. From Wiki:The area is relatively hilly and high above sea level for Essex, a typical height for the central and eastern part of (old) Thundersley is about 200 feet. The area has the largest proportion of owner-occupied homes in Britain.Chris Pearson06/03/2015
