Parked at the King George IV pub in Eskdale Green (very accommodating landlord). 2nd hill on the way to Ravensglassmoorsman10/05/2019
From the lay-by parking outside Muncaster Castle, up Fell Lane and over Hooker Crag, Muncaster Fell (which does indeed look lower than Hooker Crag) and the three tops of Silver Knott. Glorious views of Eskdale.Nick Down106/05/2019

Thanks to all who came along for my final English Marilyn. The walk started well with pasties, scones or cakes in the Ravenglass station cafe, before a trip on the R&E railway to The Green, cake and damson gin at the top, then ice cream at Muncaster Castle to make sure we had enough energy to get back to Ravenglass. Some Tumps also got in the way during the walkGill23/06/2018

Parked at Muncaster Castle car park, up bridleway heading past a lake then over the old Marilyn summit, touching trig point and rock on the way, short descent then across some bog on a path and then cut up to this summit. Over time I am sure that a more significant path will appear going over this top - there is a faint one already forming.assynt_bob12/04/2018

Second completion of the English Marilyns! At least Hillbagging now agrees with my totals. I don't remember it being that boggy back in 1989.tim74730/08/2017
