Short walk up path from car park to W.PGCE24/11/2023
A nice wee wander amongst the bracken and newly planted trees.summitter05/01/2023
Easy from Haugh Lane - one of two interesting little hills in the area.Mark Sims16/09/2022
From small parking area to W. a short walk up the well-worn path to summit. An interesting feature, believed to have been formed by the boulders, gravel & sand deposited when the glaciers during the last Ice Age retreated.gerrybowes03/09/2022

Felled trees were a joy for once, offering good views from the path along a mini ridgeColin Crawford07/10/2021

Up path from road.Power stations steaming away. Some of tree stumps have their tops carved!catman18/12/2017
Had cycled past this hill a few times without even noticing it - it's surrounded by trees. Today it was deliberate, thanks to this website. OS L105 doesn't make it clear. Rode to the foot of the hill and walked up to the top, from which the views are very good for such a little hill.IanHHill04/12/2017
20th Tump of the day. The darkness didn't detract from a magnificent scene of twinkling lights for miles around.Campbell Singer11/10/2017
Pitch dark. Just missed amazing sunset but was rewarded with lights everywhere.Barbara Singer11/10/2017
Path from W, reserve currently closed due to fungus causing dog deaths. I have no dog and ate no fungusRHW03/09/2017
After visiting Harewood House & gardens with my mum and then after having climbed up to Rawden Hill I drove us over here to park in layby. Mysterious illness has caused dogs deaths but cause as yet unidentified, site closed as a result. Easy access with path crossing summit. Good views all the way round especially if you like power stations as at least three are clearly visible! Onwards to Brayton Barff.Dazingdale02/09/2017
Good views today.Moorponder13/08/2017
Surprisingly nice view if you don't mind the power stations!the_adam03/08/2017

Much nicer than anticipated. Bluebells still out.jimbloomer09/05/2017
Much nicer hill than expected. Thought I recognised the man driving away as we arrived, but when we met again at Brayton Buff found it was Jim Bloomer.GordonAdshead09/05/2017
Public access woodland - no need to trespass for once! Solo.Dangerous Dave08/05/2017
Small parking area at end of the lane leading close to the summit. Good path to the top. 5 minutes return.moorsman07/05/2017
Drove down lane from the N and parked outside the Hambleton Hough wildlife habitat. Path leads straight over the top from there, a level section with a few tree stumps. Power stations dominate the horizon!Aye Jimmy01/05/2017
