Early start - Low tide 06.50 0.6m for a walk-on to the stack. | Gonk | 20/03/2022 |
Accessible at low tide hopping across boulders to west end of slab. Up slab to long arete which is followed to the top with short steeper wall at the end. Mostly moderate scrambling with maybe one move of Diff on the wall below the top. Low tide was 0.3m on the day and crossed to the stack with dry feet 30 minutes before then. | Dave McG | 24/09/2018 |
Not ticked. Info only. A splendid addition. only a 25 m contour on OSM but with a crest that just pips p30 thanks to Lidar. A beautifully shaped stack that is so well named, with its slender sloping bow arch ...and best of all it offers a fine modest mini adventure as the bow can be climbed at a gentle moderate standard after a very short swim from the nearby beach, or the stack can be climbed dryshod at low tide by DMs route and the bow descended for the fun of it. One for the 'to do' list. | Chris Pearson | blank |
