O: De facto hp is bridge over feeder stream, on public footpath. Natural HP unclear - level water meadows with long history of human management. Not very helpful I guess...

Parked to SW along path by The Old Mill to the other side of the meadows, visting both bridges and land close by. Difficult to call this ‘a hill’. But it had to be done.PeterD08/03/2024
From the Old Mill where my friend was landlord years ago. Not sure how this came to be on a hillbagging site as, although it is very pretty, can no way be called a hill.clivevilla24/01/2024
Plenty of parking on Middle Street before a walk over this island to visit Salisbury Cathedral bagging benchmarks on the way.Dugswell206/10/2023
From the pub to SW. Very busy footpath into Salisbury. Nice view of cathedral.Minto03/07/2023

From SW end, parking at SU 1335 2939. Walked to far end of the path across the water meadow and back. Only discernable HP being the small foot bridge at centre.jonglew09/07/2020
pleasant sunny lunch spot but more impressed by the Cathedral and nesting peregrines.Denise 15/06/2020
Along the path which crosses the sheep grazed meadows. A natural high point being hard to identify. Nice views of the Cathedral.RichardM15/06/2020
De facto hp bridge on path, tranquil and well known locally with info board. From SWRHW16/11/2019
Parked in Mallard Close to the SW, passed the Mill pub and followed the busy path to the other side of the island. About as unhill like as you can get but lovely nevertheless. Hardly seemed worth looking around for a high point but nipped over a gate and headed towards the given grid ref just for forms sake but the bridges are almost certainly higher.Herbert Anchovy16/11/2019
After Cockey Down - on to explore a potential new SIB I had spotted in the heart of Salisbury - Harnham Water Meadows - 84 acres. Encircled by the Rivers Avon and Nadder. I was one week too soon for the annual public flooding of the meadows. Slight shiver of alarm passed over me when my walk across the island footpath took me past The Mill pub which was where the Skripals drank before collapsing with Novichok poisoning, and had just reopened after months of being decontaminated.Chris Pearson27/01/2019
