Another Epic adventure in North Wales 1st Summit of the day, from Capel Curig, climbing all the Glyders finishing at the Pen-Y-Gwyrd hotel.I took the ridge rising gradually to this summit,a perfect lead-in with amazing views. The track took me quite close and then i veered off to climb to the summit area to explore the cairn and climb all the rocky lumps vying for attention. Great views but Tryfan must wins on wow appeal. I returned to the path to climb Y Foel Goch.Dazingdale07/07/2014

This was a traverse of the Glyderau and a walk which needs a car at either end. I left mine at Ogwen, we drove back to Capel Curig and started walking at about ten. Have had amazing luck with visibility this year, and it seemed about to continue today. We climbed over marshy ground, losing the path but knowing which direction to take, until we overshot the first peak and had to double back to reach the cairned summit. Good views across the whole of the Carneddau and – briefly – of Llyn Cowlyd between the steep drops of Creigiau Gleision and Pen Llithrig y Wrach. From here we could also see the remaining three mountains of the day, though the ascent to Glyder Fach looked easier than it ultimately turned out to be. It must have been at this point that we saw a helicopter and thought that someone might be in trouble. It later turned out that a Wirral schoolteacher had died while climbing near Esgair Felen.peter4lc27/09/2003
