Solo walk. I parked on the A82 Glen Coe road close to the start of the track to Gleann leac na Muidhe. Walked up this track and then past the corner of a plantation and up the hillside to reach the summit of Stob an Fhuarain. I had thought of returning over Aonach Dubh a' Ghlinne, but was running out of time. Instead I went down to the path beside Allt na Muidhe, as I thought this would be easier, and then followed the outward track back to the car. Weather OK. Object of the day was to do the Munro Top, which I had missed out when I had last done the Munro.pwbellarby14/05/2006

With: solo; From Sgurr na h'Ulaidh the ridge was narrow and took longer than expected in the now steady rain. There was no view! I had anticipated the descent down the E ridge to be complex and it was. Cloud cleared below 850m. It was midday at bealach.Ian Baines24/04/1998
