Parked near Saint Fiachna's cemetry East of Bunane ideal for when I come off the hill later, A Twelve and half mile route starting with a road walk up to Priest's Leap and taking in Six tops Knockboy, Knockboy North, Caoinkeen, Knocknamanagh North East, Gullaba hill and Knocknamanagh returning in Seven and half hours.WAYNE ROWLETT04/09/2023
Fence line E from Priest’s Leap car park. At fence junction a line of wooden posts leads past the outflow of Lough Boy to rejoin fence line to summit. Trig at high point. Watery path all the way. Wind, rain and mist.RichardM23/06/2023
The road north and south of Priest’s Leap is single track, tarmaced, unfenced, with sparse passing places, steep sections with some blind bends and summits. In sheeting rain and low cloud we met no one. There’s a small parking area at the signed col. The route is quick and simple. Splash east over boggy sheep pasture on a faint path which mainly follows a fence line or posts. We easily hopped over the Lough Boy outflow. There’s a trig and small cairn at the summit. We saw nothing in low cloud and sheeting rain. Returned the same way, continued SW to Point 519m in hope of a view but were disappointed albeit even wetter.Denise 23/06/2023
Hiked knockboy Knockboy N top and caoinkeen starting at thr priests leap.Danny Devlin13/05/2022
From the Priest's Leap Pass. Drove the mountain road up to the col from Coomhola Bridge to the south - not too bad if you don't meet another vehicle. Road up from the north more challenging. Parked at the col. Followed the standard route east by the fence, then north onto Pt. 561m. Then east past Lough Reagh and north-east up to the summit. Returned the same way. Quite boggy. From Drehideighteragh Bridge via Priest's Leap. Good views of Bantry Bay. Afterwards on to Caoinkeen and Knocknamanagh.IanHHill29/04/2019
Our first 'international' top. From Priest's Leap as others before. End of May so soggy rather than boggy but still cold. Brilliant 360 degree views at the top.Newton Maximus29/05/2015
With GB from Priests Leap. One and a half hours round trip in good weather. Drove north from Priests Leap to Kenmare road.bolton10/09/2014
Roadside parking at Priest's Leap (V98537 61095) - Crossed road & headed up faint path to right of fence - Apart from cuttting the corner by the two loughs, followed fences to the summit trig point. (PM)gerrybowes10/09/2014

Walked up from The Priests Leap. No visability due to thick mist and rain. Top is marked by a Trig. Pillar at 706m. Care with navigation needed in misty conditions.Harry Goodman24/08/2008
With family in Cork t would be rude not to climb. Paddy Dillon route over four. Heavy pack of sarnies from Ian’s mum but otherwise all good - think she thought we’d gone for the weeknickywood119/05/2008
