Round of Llyn Cowlyd tops. From Siglen up to reservoir, on to NW shoulder and N top to summit. Paths all the way some faint. Not too wet under foot. Massive quartz vein after NW top. Dropped from summit down to SW end of reservoir before ascending Pen Llithrigg and going down the NW ridge and back to Siglen over fairly featureless ground after SH726639. Back on track following Nuttalls route in the clouds | colinfielding | 17/06/2022 |
12 mile circular from holiday cottage in Trefriw. Up steep hairpin bend road to Cefn Cyfarwydd trig point then down and along to Llyn Cowlyd. An easy-to-follow path heads up the hillside from the dam and along the sometimes boggy ridge to Creigiau Gleision North Top, then Creigiau Gleison. We retraced our steps to the boggy cwm and descended a good but sometimes boggy footpath into woods down to Llyn Crafnant. Followed tourist track along Llyn Crafnant and followed minor road then riverside footpath back to Trefriw. 905m ascent. Saw 3 people on the hill and quite a lot by Llyn Crafnant. Great views in all directions throughout. | DanTrig | 12/06/2022 |

Llithrig y Wrach and crossing over via bridge to do the two tops of Creigiau Gleision. Only problem was finding the path for the lower section of final descent but not a problem on sometimes tussocky but not difficult ground. | dickscroop | 15/12/2021 |

From Llyn Crafnant. Cefn Cyfarwydd, Creigiau Gleision North Top, Creigiau Gleision, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen and Crimpiau. | angelfon37 | 16/11/2020 |
Once again just limited to local walks at the moment. So, today cycled over to Crafnant for a repeat bag of Creigiau Gleision. No need to include any other tops so the forest track to the east was very handy for gaining height, and then some heather bashing up to the clagged-in summit. | Twice Shy | 14/10/2020 |
From Llyn Crafnant on a circular of the Gleision tops | derrymark | 27/09/2020 |
Great day out, perfect weather with the Jake and Joe. Boys got their first taste of scrambling on some of the tops. great views of the 3000ers from up here. | simocity | 19/09/2020 |
5 summits from Crafnant with Rufus. Parked in NRW car park and followed yellow footpath to end of the llyn. ROW from
Blaen y Nant to E of Crimpiau then path to summit just beyond wall. Rough tracks leading over Craig Wen, Craiglwyn and both tops of Creigiau Gleision. Rough track E to fence then over stile by huge blanket bog to follow track S along old fence posts into forest. Simple forest paths and tracks back to Llyn Crafnant. Boggier and rockier than I expected but a cool perspective of Ogwen. | jacobrichmond | 24/08/2020 |
Nuttall walk 1.4(ish). Quite a few accidental detours. | Dan Baddeley | 08/08/2020 |
Cefn Cyfarwydd, Creigiau Gleision north top, Cregiau Gleision, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen and Crimpiau. Parked at Llyn Crafnant. Lovely cold, crisp winter's day. | alunrees0504 | 18/01/2020 |
Round of Carnedd Llewelyn, Pen yr Helgi Du, Pen Lithrig Wrach and Craigiau Gleision from Gwern Goch Isaf. From 415m bridge, west face up onto 600m ridge, trackless pathless and wet at first but gets better on grass higher up. Pick up path up ridge to rocky summit. From bridge, route back to car was mostly on bank above water channel, marked ROW looked wet and muddy. | Topographer57 | 24/08/2019 |
Circuit from Llyn Crafnant | chalky1953 | 24/08/2019 |
From Llyn Crafnant car park. Track along short then up nice path to exit woods. Mistake to follow rough path along forest edge as end in heather thrash to pick up ridge path. Stay with path even though detours away to start. Fine views | N.Morters | 07/04/2019 |
Tumps and Nuttalls from Capel Curig. Y Pincin then along the Nant y Geualt to Crimpiau and along the ridge line to take in Craig Wen, Craiglwyn and Creigiau Gleision. Missed out North Top on this trip. | knarf | 26/03/2019 |

Used CP near Joe Brown shop, Capel Curig - walked by A5 to start of track just past Bron Heulog - eventually made a grassy ascent (using faint tracks here & there), to a little way S of rocky summit. Pleasant summit. | ger | 17/07/2018 |

Cefn Cyfarwydd, Creigiau Gleision north top, Creigiau Gleison, Craiglwyn, Craig Wen and Crimpiau. From Llyn Crafnant. | Alunrees33 | 09/07/2017 |
12 mile walk from Capel Curig starting in sunshine, followed road then up boggy path to water channel, followed water channel to foot of Y Braich ridge and climbed to Pen Yr Helgi Du, the weather was still good by this time but the Glyders went into cloud, descended and steeply ascended onto Pen Llithrig Y Wrach, descended to end of reservoir and ascended pathless slopes onto Creigiau Gleison, by this time the weather had took a turn for the worst, we nearly went into cloud. Followed rough path onto Craiglwyn, then climbed up Craig Wen and Crimpiau, by this time every hill we had done earlier went into cloud, descended to Capel Curig. Great but strenuous walk, if we had started an hour later all the walk would have probably been in cloud! | DanTrig | 09/04/2017 |
