From roadside parking at Tan Y Pistyll, up beside waterfall then on the permissive path (boggy in places) over Trum Felen to Moel Sych. Crossed the fence then on to both Cadair Berwyn summits. Paused to eat lunch in the large wind shelter. Descent (quite steep) along the top of Craig Y Llyn cliffs to the outfall of Llyn Lluncaws then followed the valley of Nant y Llyn to the road. Off for a full day hike with a group of friends from Shrewsbury. Parked at the Pistyll Rhaeadr carpark, and a long slow walk up the Nant y Llyn valley. Steep climb up the ridge of Craig y Llyn overlooking Llyn Lluncaws, then a march along the top to bag both Cadair Berwyns, old and new.
