Rainy and then sunny solo walk from Llandegley via Pawl Hir and Gilwern Hill cairns. Visited the nearby stone circle, red kites hovered over the large bronze age barrow that Gelli Hill trig is mounted on. Walked on to Llandrindod via The Beacon barrow.thesweetcheat23/10/2011
Followed the bridle way from near Bilko's house SO11675 58630 almost all the way to the top. Not sure many bridles go that way though. Loved it despite the weather.Martin R25/08/2011

Stopped just passed the cattle grid on the road to the south. Went back for the drop and then climbed via the track before taking the path to within striking distance of the trig. The walk back was made all the better for the drizzle falling.garyhoney18/02/2002
