Fourth of 6 tops on a wonderful walk across Mynydd Preseli from Crymych to Newport. After Carn Sian, via the long steady climb up to the excellent Foel Feddau cairn, then followed a subsidiary path round the eastern top of the escarpment. The top seemed a long time coming, and quite busy compared to the relative quiet of elsewhere today. Descended northwest, as the cloud started to come in. | thesweetcheat | 26/04/2022 |
Eleven mile walk along the Preselli Hill with Mog. Dropped off near Foel Drygarn and from there to Carn Menyn, Carn Sian, Foel Cwmceryn and Cerrig Lladron (the latter a repeat from a couple of days before) before descending to our cottage for the week at Tregynon. Clear but strong wind. Good day out. | Herbert Anchovy | 19/04/2022 |

West up to Cerrig Lladron first, then back to the pass and east along the ridge to Foel Cwmcerwyn (previously bagged as a Marilyn in 2018, today as a Dewey), then on to Carn Sian, Carn Menyn (nice scramble to summit), and the fort at Foel Drygarn. Then direct route back to the car. 22.5km with 700m ascent in 5h40m. (S) | silveracorn_alan | 08/08/2021 |

10.7 mile walk from minor road west of Penygroes, followed sketchy paths on fairly easy terrain across the slopes to the col between Foel Cwmcerwyn and Carn Sian, went there-and-back to Foel Cwmcerwyn (previously bagged in 2005)then followed easy paths to the cairned summit of Carn Sian and the rocky tor top of Carn Menyn, from here headed north briefly getting stuck in the bogs of the Afon Clun-Maen and headed back to the car. Afterwards drove around to and bagged Frenni Fawr and Freni Fach. A few people about on this nice sunny/high cloud day, good views especially towards the Gower Peninsular. | DanTrig | 05/09/2020 |

With E. From car park off B4329. Along paths by forest edge up to summit. Dry underfoot. An easy walk. Great views in all directions. Cloudy and a slight breeze made it ideal walking conditions. Nice to bag our last of the 13 Welsh historic county tops. Tea and cake at Caffi'r Sgwar, Maenclochog to celebrate. | Beeliner | 18/07/2019 |
From roadside in village up through the field and onto the main path to the summit past the forest. Very misty with a constant drizzle which became quite the downpour at the top. No views whatsoever, but a good climb, 90mins up and down. | Stuzinho | 29/05/2019 |

A disappointing top coming after the nicer ones to the east. Did as part of a traverse of the Presellies from Crymach to Newport. | Alan Moore | 02/01/2019 |
From parking at SN 074321. A boggy section along the N edge of the forest can be avoided by using two stiles to access a hardcore track on the S side of the forest fence. | Isbjorn | 13/11/2018 |
From the west starting at road pass. Clear day with lines of sight to Snowdon and Devon. Tried to cut through the forest on the way in, with negative consequences. | Topographer57 | 28/09/2018 |

Just over 3 mile walk from car park off B4329. Dry for us but looks like it could get quite boggy | Janie | 17/07/2018 |
Starting from the car park at the top of the pass (SN 075 322). East along the ridge to Foel Cwmcerwyn, then directly back to the pass. Preseli Hills are really nice - I will have to return! (S) | silveracorn_alan | 10/05/2018 |

From the National Park car park at the summit of the B4329. A bit of bog trotting alongside the forest, then more to follow towards the summit. A good path all the way. Foggy, so no views, sadly. | Gill | 11/01/2018 |
