Parked by Beacons Reservoir and approached summit from the south. Very windy on the ridge, hailed and snowed on the way up and sleeted briefly on the way back, but sunshine in between. Descended to Storey Arms and took the Taff Trail back to the car.clyoung01/03/2020

Fan Fawr, Corn Du, Pen y Fan & Cribyn. Started from 'lower' CP - walked up to Storey Arms CP, then a quiet ascent of Fan Fawr & on to trig - return to Storey Arms & on to Corn Du & Pen y Fan (now not so quiet). The continuation to the fine looking Cribyn was fairly quiet.ger15/04/2019

Hiked up from opposite Storey Arms - first hill on a circuit of Fforest Fawr peaks that also took in Fan Llia, Fan Frynych and Craig Cerrig-gleisiad.
