My fourth Wainwright round of the Skiddaw Group from High Side in the north. Visited Watches, Ullock Pike, Long Side, Carl Side, cut across to Skiddaw Little Man and Lesser Man, then along the ridge past Jenkin Hill to Lonscale Fell and Lonscale Pike. Then an about turn below Little Man to the main summit ridge, visiting South Top, Middle Top, Skiddaw Summit, and North Top. Descended over Broad End to Bakestall, and down to the road via Cockup. 20km with 1360m ascent 7hours.silverwolf_alan04/11/2023

A 360 ten yard view for me and the Boo. We celebrated by tapping and unwrapping a Terry's Chocolate Orange (a bit of free advertising there) on the trig point. We may well have been the first to do it. If only Tenzing and Hilary had thought of itAlphaville19917/03/2023

I did a circuit around Skiddaw today north of Keswick, parking at Millbeck. Up through the trees to Dodd (502m), a Tump, then onto to Long Side / Ullock Pike (734m), a Hewitt. Skiddaw (930m) a Furth Munro had a huge group from Liverpool on the summit, I finished on top of Skiddaw Little Man (865m), a Hewitt. Returned via Underskiddaw village, 6hrs all inchillyman812/02/2023
Great to get my first English 3000 footer done on New Year's Day today. Especially so after I had gotten to within sight of the pillar two days previous but crazy winds in the region of 100mph made it too foolhardy to be able to make it that last little bit.Alex C01/01/2023
Very cold and windy. Paths icy.KevPalmer16/12/2022
Staying at Threlkeld for OH birthday. Up Carlside via White Stones, then up scree path to collect the 4 Skiddaw tops. Descent on tourist path via Little Man and Lesser Man, also calling in on Jenkins Hill. Perfect mountain conditions, clear sky, light breeze, mild temp.cackleberry18/10/2022

2nd ascent of Skiddaw. Sunny September day but unseasonably cold on top. Easier than we remembered and no one around. Steep scree bit by top meant slow descent by K (who incidentally strained her piriformis attempting Parkrun the next day).AlanDStewart16/09/2022

Dodd>ullock pike>longside>Carl side>skiddaw>lonscale fell round. From Carl side the left path up the fell side. Although longer it's shallower at the start but really steep just before the top. Left at the top to skiddaw man and north top. Right to middle top and south top.keenwalker02/09/2022
