Walk from Elterwater through Sawrey’s Wood and ascent to Banks Quarry. Ascent of Lingmoor Fell via Lingmoor Quarry (Brown How). Descent to Dale End to Little Langdale. Along road and down to river, cross at Ford and into Moss Rigg Wood. Follow Bridleway to Strang End, High Park and Tongue Intake Plantation. Ascent of Hollin Bank and Arnside Plantation to Black Crag. Descent to Pullscar Plantation and descent to valley Skelwith Bridge. Road up to Loughrigg Tar, and head east to Tarn Foot, ascent via Ivy Crag and Black Mire to Loughrigg Fell. Descent via Ewe Crag and follow road to High Close, descent to Elterwater via Walthwaite Bottom.raymooremanx25/11/2018
