Second day in the Lake District and the Fairfield Horseshoe.JazDisney03/12/2019
Great way to spend your birthday. A fantastic day running Leg 2 of the Bob Graham with Brett and Mark. Cloudy throughout the day, with soft snow and some ice on the tops, visibility very poor, but not bad enough to need to take bearings. One missed top (Watson’s Dodd) so had to recip. Very tough section, out and back to Fairfield, wanted to give up! Jonesy ran out of water but decided not to mention this to us. 5hrs 41minutes for the leg, with a distance of 15.5 miles so not in the right ball park to take on the full challenge...yet. Cough head, great Dodd, Watson’s Dodd, stybarrow Dodd, raise, white side, helvellyn LM, Helvellyn, nethermost pike, dollywaggon pike, Fairfield, and seat sandal.Jim Baz17/11/2019
