with CB Stob Diamh, via Stob Garbh (pt.980) and exit via Sron an Isean (pt. 964)niallp10/10/1993
With two friends. We left the main road at NN035295 and headed uphill to the right of Allt Cruiniche, then going roughly eastwards to meet the SW ridge of Stob Dearg. Ascended the ridge to reach the summit of Stob Dearg. Followed the main ridge to Ben Cruachan, Drochaid Ghlas, Stob Diamh, continuing to Sron an Isean. We thought of descending the easterly ridge from here, but instead continued to Beinn a Chochuill and Beinn Eunaich, taking the opportunity to add scrambling bits. Descended via the south ridge to Castles Farm. The day was very misty initially, but clear conditions on the somewhat lower summits at the end of the day. A little rain and very windy at times.pwbellarby18/09/1993

Last summit on Drishaig- Monadh Driseig- Beinn a'Bhuiridh- Stob Diamh- Sron an Isean- Drishaig round. See Stob Diamh for eulogy on these 3 Munro Tops. Easy descent of ESE ridge, fine at top, steep and broad lower down. It was starting to cloud over more at the end of this walk, these mountains were just the right height for today's weather. Some very obtrusive hydroboard engineering high in Coire Chreachainn.pwheeler03/05/1988
