| Dawn done on her own. Winter conditions - snow on tops and severe wind-chill but excellent visibility. Parked in layby on A591 (Mill Bridge). Walked up to the left of Great Tongue, above Hause Riggs around Gavel and onto summit. Return via cairn to west of summit cairn and then down nose - there is no footpath marked on map but it is obvious on the ground.
