| Glenridding Dodd - heron pike - Sheffield Pike descent down to nick head and Glencoyne valley. -2 and lovely blue sky at the start started to snow near the top of Heron Pike. All the bogs and mud frozen hard which made for a rare dry and pleasant walk across Sheffield Pike. All the bogs on Sheffield Pike frozen solid so easy going. Wonderful rocky path up Heron Pike.
