High House Bank, Robin Hood, Lord's Seat, Great Yarlside, Great Yarlside, Great Saddle Crag, back to Great Yarlside, Little Yarlside, Whatshaw Common, Whatshaw Common East Top, A6, back down to Hause Foot. Faint trods outbound, trackless waste around head of valley, excellent ATV track helped part way to Great Saddle Crag, otherwise lots of very wet boot wrecking tussock grass.Isbjorn26/08/2020

As I had already repeated Sleddale Pike, I used the high-level bridleway for the ascent, via Ulthwaite Rigg. In retrospect, not a sensible decision.David Purchase15/05/2019

Set off for The Wet Sleddale Horseshoe but only managed the two due to foot injury and weather. Ullthwaite Rigg will have to wait another day. Managed Sleddale Pike and Great Saddle Crag. Tough walking on the terrain which from setting off apart from a section of track is long tussocky grsss and heather and plenty of water in the bootsWayne Mac24/03/2019

WOs 92,93,94 and 95. Bs 79.80,81 and 82. A hard day. Easy walk by path and track from the dam to the Lunch House, then very rough and boggy going up stream to Gray Bull. Drier but rough and heathery over Sleddale Pike, Wasdale Pike, Great Saddle Crag and Ulthwaite Rigg with little of interest. Back along very boggy Mosedale bridleway and even boggier path around reservoir. Sunny all day but was it worth it?BURGESS10/08/2017

Done with Richard T & Stuart W + dogs as part of the Wet Sleddale Horseshoe, also taking in Sleddale Pike & Ulthwaite Rigg. Weather was cloudy with moderate visibility and a very cold 17mph wind. It's in the name the conditions under foot were very wet and boggy making for a tough slog.falunty20/12/2016
