From Victoria Bridge, along track towards Clashgour, then signs to stepping stones & footbridge. SW along edge of former plantation, over Tom Liath and then succession of grassy ramps to S'ish of Pt 636 and on to summit. Cold NE wind but clear. Return over N top, down to bridge & alongside river . Ring Ousel on top, eagle on descent. Lovely day out!MichaelF03/04/2024
A round of two Grahams and one sub2k from Victoria Bridge, after sleeping there in van. A bit rough in places but not bad. Dry all day, high cloud, a bit of blue in the sky occasionally and very still. Started with Tairbh, and went clockwise. Rounsfell21/11/2023
From Forest Lodge, followed track and path to Clashgour Footbridge, then struck directly across moor to col between two tops of Beinn Suidhe. On return from around 350-400m level found decent ATV track which went NNE to climbable gate at NN22274170 adjacent to main Loch Dochard track, from where headed east back to start point. Definitely worth using ATV track to ascend to make life easier!willyross18/04/2023

A circuit of Meall Tairbh, Beinn a' Chuirn and Beinn Suidhe from Victoria Bridge car park; absolutely rammed at 08.30 but I saw no-one on the hill, though 2 eagles, plenty of deer and Bambi in the grass. MT quite pleasant after the initial thrash up deer grass, slight paths at times. Meall an Laoigh lives up to expectations as per the map. B a'C is the best hill, a wall of crags with various lines of weakness; take your pick. I went up the obvious wide grassy shelf below the lowest crags, circling round to the SW then a short scree slope with good deer path below a crag and short climb on grass to the top. BS is just that, a tedious up and down long ridge and a steep descent to the Loch Dochard track on horrible rampant vegetables; best avoided in mid-summer. Walk out is easy and scenic though.Gill09/07/2022
From Victoria Bridge as part of a circuit including Meall Tairbh and Beinn a' Chuirn. A long day, but beautiful weather with great views.vuirich18/06/2021
Followed the track then path from Forest Lodge. The river stepping-stone crossings were a bit dodgy for Deana, who ended up paddling across Abhainn Shira, but otherwise a pleasant walk to Tom Liath. A midge-ridden ascent over blaeberry bog eventually got us the Beinn Suide's North Top then the main summit itself. Deana didn't fancy the paddle again, so we struck SW to Bealach Eas nan Cabar then up to Beinn a' Chuirn - mostly okay ground but no paths other than the occasional deer track to follow. Homeward over similar pathless boggy grass and heath to Creag an Daimh before more tricky terrain beyond Creag an Tailleir, where sedges, long grass and cow trodden mud hindered the short-legged, before relief when the forest track to the Victoria Bridge car park was reached. A 5 hour round.summitter23/08/2020
Beinn Suidhe/Meall Buidhe/Meall Garbh from Victoria Bridge. Gate into forest at 222417 then vague argo track to bealach then deer tracks to north top. Someone appears to have taken a dislike to the summit cairn and knocked it down though a smaller one is reappearingdaviemore23/08/2020

My second attempt at this one, but everything worked OK as the river crossings were easy.IanHHill20/05/2017
M J O. From VB. Very still sunny day. Easy to the top and descent via the obvious fire break in the forestry. Plenty of gates but just enough room for O to squeeze through ...Martin6602/10/2016
A round of the 2 Grahams and the Marilyn between. Clockwise from the Inn. Took 7 hours. All quite easy. Came back by the forest track which is good. Worst bit was beside the river on the way down to the forest.jenx10/09/2016
After Meall Tairbh and Beinn a'Chuirn. Easy drop to col then gradual ascending line, past interesting 7ft wooden cross to ridge. Undulating and pleasant rocky top. Dropped direct to burn in East and crossed before gorge, descended with some difficulty near stream to forest gate and used first the good path then good road to return to Inveroran. Good long day, made trickier by sodden ground.nordicstar10/09/2016
From Vic Bridge through forest, turned out to be easier than the return via the river and fishing hut. Hot, sunny, calm and breathtaking views.iangalbraith17/08/2016

It's a long way from Victoria Bridge. Should I really be considering going on to a'Chuirn? Oh, go on then. It was a lovely sunny day.Martin R12/03/2014
From Forest Lodge along river side track until base of hill then cut up and across around the SE face which ends in a very steep ascent to the top. Stopped here (although two more marilyn's planned) in terms of bagging due to sweltering heat and quickly diminishing water supply. Back down the same way.Columba08/07/2013
Round of Beinn Suidhe, Beinn a Chuirn and Meall Tairbh from Victoria Bridge car park on a hot sunny afternoon and evening. 6 gruelling hours.alexmaclennan08/07/2013
Beinn Suidhe (NN 208400) S/F NN 270418 Cold, breezy winter day with frequent showers. Clound mainly about 3000' broken. Clound descended whilst approaching and at summit therefore no view. Detour to north along path to aviod very steep climb just after crossing bridge.John Young01/02/2012

From Victoria Bridge. Good track by river and WDP into forest. Into small plantation over a deer fence stile and small suspension bridge over the river across white tussock to first tump. Steeply up to ridge and flatter trek to a grassy rake to left of first line of crags. More dodging crags to top at 13.10. To Chuirn.arranc02/04/2006
