Hartside-Renwick-Thack Moor-Watch Hill-Black Fell-Hartside. Straightforward walk from Renwick, good views although not the clearest visibility todayGary Heath07/07/2019
Train from Bradford to Lazonby station for walk with Alan P - a hot summer's day which took its toll especially with a fair amount of road walking. Up via Renwick to a well-defined top with excellent views all around. Certainly worth the effort.JOHNS06/07/2019

As others from Renwick, including Watch Hill. Return via higher public footpath from Watch Hill very wet, maybe lower path might be better?David Gradwell02/11/2017

Climbed up along the ridge from Harside summit, it was a surprisingly long way and quite a lot of height loss and gain. I estimated a round trip of 15km with nearly 400m of ascent. Great views over the lakes and north over the vast expanse of the Alston Moors.dianepick01/11/2017

Was staying at Melmerby so started there.Took the track from GR 6148 3767 to 6129 4009. Took mainly roads to Renwick. Pleasant climb up to Thack Moor, Watch Hill and Black Fell and then down to Hartside where I had some lunch. Fiends fell and then Little Knapside Hill and then picked up the path at GR 6366 3834 which was a pleasant walk.tsharp06/07/2017

I started from the village of Renwick. A path leads direct from the village to the summit, becoming vague only a couple of hundred feet from the top.peter4lc06/05/2017

Walked on my own straight up and back on the path from Renwick. Cold but calm, snowy on the top. The sun was just setting and the fell was bathed in red light as I approached it. I was heralded back to my car by Renwick church bells. A great little fell to climb after doing Cold Fell in the morning.flockwatcher22/01/2017
Parked in Renwick. Filthy weather on the way : strong northerly wind and rain turning to sleet turning to snow. Much better on the way down. Faint path through the grass from the top of the very good track leads all the way to the summit trig. With Tinside Rigg, done on the same day, recompletes the Nuttalls.Owen B06/11/2016
