The extreme storm force winds of the afternoon had eased by the time I got up here at 10.30pm, and the lofty far off views to Bristol Channel towns and cities lit up in the dark were really top notch as you'd expect.Alex C02/11/2023

Parked at Burrington Ham free car park at the top of the coombe. Breezy walk to the top with some views except towards Exmoor, where the next weather front was looming. With Gillian on the way home from a camping trip.richard6929/07/2023

Cycle ride from home; left bike at Wireless Station and walked over to Beacon Batch was very quiet on summit apart from a couple having lunch.isabelle29/04/2023
Walked up from Charterhouse via the wireless station. Weather started off with a bit of drizzle and progressed to heavy rain. Good to get out had the hill to myself; still a few snow patches here and there especially behind the walls and hedges. Saw Stonechats Skylarks Raven Robin Fieldfares and a few Gulls. The summit was in the clag so no views it was still cold only 3-4C Time taken 1.5 hours for just under 4.5 milesisabelle11/03/2023

Beautiful walk. Stopped by one of the caves on the way back and did a figure of 8 walk from the Burrington Ham car park, to the peak, round, and then to the nature reserve. Breathtaking views all around and really beautiful scenery. Thanks to the local chap who I stumbled into (quite literally!) in the bottom of the cave and provided a history of the area.jamiequackers20/04/2022

Dropped Beckie off at Bristol airport at 3am... Maisie & I went south & parked up at the small car park S of Ellick House on the B3134. At 6:20am we 'woke' up & set off under perfect skies for the top. Superb views, glorious spring sunshine.DanMaisieBex19/03/2022

Parked at Burlington Ham CP and took shortest route to top. Busy at trig so had dinner behind tumuli out if wind. Took longer path E back to make walk circular. Nice hill - Dundry Down looks quite nice from up here 😆.robphys11/09/2021
