Across from Sron a'Chaoineidh, then down to the cairns by a stile at NN8005 3728. Over the stile and descended W and N of Garrow Hill to gates at NN8234 3968, and NN8258 3992, near the car. | LizH | 25/04/2023 |
From Newton Bridge. Left bike near monument before Dalriech. Also did Sron a' Chaoineidh & Creagan na Beinne. 25.2 mls(bike-14.1) | duchally | 05/02/2023 |
Biked in from Newton Bridge to the bridge just passed the war memorial. The estate tracks support an easy circuit of the Simms and Sub Simms. Round trip 26 miles. | BaggerGutt | 14/11/2022 |
On way back from Creagan na Beinne. | John Lee | 13/09/2022 |
Parked, with permission, in a small enclosure at Ardtalnaig. Walked the 7km up Gleann a'Chilleine to the moraines just before Dunan. Then up much of the S ridge of Cregan na Beinne, before cutting across to its East Top. Then picked up the Land Rover track which made for fast progress to Sron a'Chaoineidh and on Meal nan Eanchainn. Then back tracked and up to the main objective, the Corbett Creagan na Beinne with its splendid view of the Lawers Group. Quickly down the ridge to Beinn Bhreac S Top with its peat hags, and finally to the trig at the top of Beinn Bhreac, before following the rather overgrown and wet track back down to Ardtalnaig. A full 8 hour day with 28km and 1200m ascent, but mostly easy going. | silveracorn_alan | 21/08/2022 |
Circular route from woodland walks car park reached by minor road SE of Kenmore. Followed woodland path to join Rob Roy way for a while before taking track heading S towards Creag an Sgliata, reaching summit over fairly rough ground. Continued to Sron a' Chaoineidh, Meall nan Eanchainn. Returned along ridge a little beyond bealach before descending NNW to reach N side of Glen Quaich. Contoured ENE and on to summit of Meall a' Choire Chreagaich East Top. Continued to Meall a' Choire Chreagaich and then NW to Creag an Fhudair and forest paths back to car. Some sunny spells, and a surprising amount of quite rough ground. | RobertP | 08/08/2022 |
Meall nan Fuaran & North, Garrow Hill, Meall nan Eanchainn, & Sron a Chaoineidh. Up from Croftmill, down past Garrow. Icy tracks and soft snow. | daviemore | 11/01/2022 |

Lovely circular walk, up from Garrow to the top of the track Carn na Ghoibre, then around to the cairns on CarnBad an Fhraioich, down ridge to rejoin upward track. Double electric fence was a worry, but theres a gate one end and a stile near the fences. Fabulous views. | hils | 09/10/2020 |
Parked near Croftmill (space for one car on verge at end of passing place). Round of 7 Simms: Meall nam Fuaran and north top, Harrow Hill, Meall nan Eannchain, Sron a' Chairidh, Creag Grianain, Meall Mor. | PGCE | 06/07/2020 |
Cycled up Glen Almond from Newton Bridge, then up hilltrack to Sron a' Chaoineidh, then East to this hill and descent by different hilltrack back to bike. Total 34.4k. | NormanW | 08/06/2020 |
A 7.45 start to give me time to take tent down and drive over 400 miles home after I finished - and to beat the rain. A good track up from Garrow all the way to first summit bar a short section of less than 1km on good grass: Sron a Chaoineidh: back to on track to Meall nan Eanchain then easy going NE to Garrow Hill; then, as I had time, east to Meall nam Fuaran N top; Meall nam Fuaran; NW stright down to road near start point without problems. | dickscroop | 04/06/2019 |
C/W round of meall nam fuaran, meall nam fuaran north top, garrow hill, meall nan eanchainn, sron a chaoineidh, creag an sqliata, from parking on verge east of croftmill, biked from hp of road to the west back to car, a mixture of tracks and good ground , and a few peat hags. | robertphillips | 30/09/2017 |
