Tempted by the wee path running up from the descent track from Mullach Clach a Bhlair. Good viewpoint. | David Bremner | 20/06/2023 |
Nice little path straight up from the descent track, really good view into Coire Garbhlach and I could see the Achlean carpark from there too. | Trantham Clan | 24/05/2023 |
1 of 4: From Achlean CP. Hot,sunny and calm. With Karen. | ChrisR | 07/06/2022 |
From Achlean, walked S to crossroads near Carnachuin then headed up road next to Allt Coire Chaoil. Good views at top into Coire Garbhlach. | 187lenny | 17/04/2022 |
From auchlean biked along path to start of the track. | robertphillips | 27/08/2021 |
My fifth summit of the day targeting Sgor Gaoith and Muliach Clach a Bhlair from Auchlean. A contrast to the last munro summit. I changed my mind and descended via this summit which gives a good view of the valley. Then dropped into the valley and returned up the east side path, which has washed out in a few places. | meltdiceburg | 02/08/2021 |
A short deviation from the track up from Carnachuin (NB No Bridge at Carnachuin) | Isbjorn | 04/06/2021 |
Parked at Auchlean. Round of 3 Simms: Creag Ghiuthsach (accessed via Creag Leathan), Carn Ban Mor West Top, Meall nan Sleac. | PGCE | 16/07/2020 |
From NW, Achlean, path to A lot Garbhlach, followed burn short way, crossed to S bank, old forest road then straight up. Then to Druim nan Bo | RHW | 02/11/2019 |
Off the main drag descending to Feshie Bothy after a day on the tops. | Eddie | 27/02/2019 |
From Ruigh-aiteachain bothy using the dull track. Nice little offshoot ridge though, with fine views to Coire Gharbhlach | Colin Crawford | 25/02/2019 |
After round of SE Munros and tops. Dropped off to NW (couldn't face the long stony track walk out). Going good to start, then steep slope with deepening heather. Once over Allt Garbhiach, found good deer trod along northerly bank (NN 8656 9518). Once petered out, followed grassy swathes to pick up ancient track NE leading to mapped path at NN 852 964 | carole engel | 07/06/2018 |
From Mullach Clach a'Bhlair. Descended into the glen of the Allt Coire Chaeil and took the east ridge up to the summit cain. Then descended back into Glen Feshie. With DB and RP. | Man of Kernow1 | 21/05/2018 |
From Achlean then easily up the bulldozed track to the cloud free summit although the base was not much above the summit. On the return I went up Meall nan sleac then North West to join the path about a mile South of Achlean. With the short cut I caught a couple of lads up that I had met when I was a mile from the summit as they descending. They gave me a weird look. 11.5 miles in 3 hrs 55 mins. | isabelle | 01/06/2017 |
On Moine Mhor and last of 3 great sunny winter days | AJones | 15/03/2015 |
Part of a long day from the bothy including Leth-Creag, a deleted Munro top and Cnapan Mor (Corbett). Intervening Glen Eidart looked unvisited by man. Thigh deep wade back across the river to re-ascend Dealth Coire Eindart after heavy rain previous day/night. | dickscroop | 04/10/2014 |

Climbed from Glen Feshie , | torkm | 02/08/2009 |
With two friends. After ascending Mullach Clach a' Bhlà ir we continued on a vehicle track N and then NW. This track is quite substantial. We descended, making a diversion up the east ridge of Meall nan Sleac where we found a path up to the top. We continued down the track to the glen bottom and another track back to the bothy. | pwbellarby | 16/11/2007 |
Minor summit passed on way to Clach a'Bhlair. | Aye Jimmy | 28/07/1994 |
on 16 mile classic from Achlean to the Glen Feshie Munros- see Mullach Clach a'Bhlair and Sgor Gaoith for full accounts. On no account miss this summit on a good day, for the view of the water-worn chasm of Coire Garbhalach. One can appreciate the huge mass of ice held in the basin above here, and the force of the water during the sudden melt at the end of the last ice advance.
