Bidein a' Chabair & Carn Mor solo from Strathan on a very hot day(25C). Cycled to A'Chuil and walked to edge of forest then straight up Meall na Sroine rough and steep to the summit with short very easy scrambling to the summit. Retraced steps to about NM898935 and descended south, very steep and rough ascent to Carn Mor summit. Still very hot and windless. Descend east along the ridge and over point 616 and down to the forest to bike near A'Chuil. Long tough day!John Lee06/09/2023
Parked: NM987916, Biked to NM930933. (Was going to use track to NM917934 but couldn’t find it!) put in base camp at NM924944. Then had 13.5 hour day over the Simms from Meall na Sroine to Sgurr Mor and then back via the glen to the south.BaggerGutt17/07/2022

Tough but spectacular day in bright sunshine and heat from Strathan. Forestry track on S side of Glen Dessarry, then climb to Meall na Sroine. Easy going albeit intricate along ridge running SSW to Bidein a' Chabair (took bypass route for final scramble on ascent, but descended the scramble on return; not difficult). Spectacular traverse to Sgurr na h-Aide, fantastic summit with great views. Then long walk back to Strathan, this time along N side of Glen Dessarry. Currently no bridge at Glendessarry (being replaced).RobertP25/05/2017
