A short walk for a day with a lot of wind in the forecast that did not really materialise. From end of road then East along West Highland Way to far edge of (felled) forest , then straight up ridge. Some slightly awkward snow just before gained ridge but no real problems Turned out to be a very good short day with some fine views.dickscroop22/02/2018

Start ~ 100666, Blar a Chaorainn. Took the West Highland Way N to the edge of the woods before swinging E up on to the ridge and climbing up to Meall a Chaorainn. Then we turned E through the col to Mullach nan Coirean. Returned same, with Wombourne and Ron Oakley.steve hudson31/03/1997
