| Round 2 with the Fisherfield Round. A mouse-y night in Shenavall with Smithy on the floor & an early start. Skipped Beinn a'Chlaidheimh (ascended the previous summer) & approached Sgurr Ban from the E which quickly turned into the equivalent of being baked in an oven as the sun reflected off the white rock. Continued over the peaks & tops. Smithy baled out at col below A'Mhaighdean & walked down the corrie. I continued over A'Mhaighdeam & Ruadh Stac Mor but failed to get a proper view due to the cloud now drifting around. Dropped down into the corrie slowly catching Smithy on the other side of the river. Boots off & forded the river, joined Smithy & we picked up the remaining gear from Shenavall, walked out to Dundonnell & drove back to Ullapool for beer & medals... | NotReallyABagger | 06/06/2002 |
