Last of the day and the best by far! From Murton Fell, long descent then short steep finish. Was 'bonxied' by two buzzards! - never known that before, perhaps there were young ones about? Dazzlingly white trig on top and fine viewpoint.Aye Jimmy07/07/2013

Walked up to High Cup Nick and across to Murton Pike still mostly in snow, great little hill and viewpoint. Bagged Merrick in Scotland the day before.DanTrig28/02/2013
There is parking area at the end of the road through Murton, shortly after it stops being metalled. The main track via Sweety Brighstone makes very easy ascent and descent. It is possible to find a direct route up the main face but this is probably slower than the main route due to its steepness.moorsman04/11/2012
