Stopping in a cottage in inverekie estate, walked 5km of estate road from the west then up the east end of ridge. Top 100 m steep crossing a rock band. 15 cm of snow with knee deep areas. Great snowy wintery views with sun. Cwas slow going uphill. Disturbed deer in lower woods.cjo24/02/2024
From the bridge over the Spean and along the track on the south side of Loch Laggan until WSW of Binnean Shios. A short trek through the open woodland until a fence reached. Snapped wire gives access onto the open hillside, where deer trods aid a steady ascent of the hill. A similar story back towards Binnein Shuas, which has a series of crags higher up that can be largely avoided by grassy gullies. The North Top is a fun scramble and the main summit a great place for views down Glen Spean. Returned SW then W to avoid the steepest crags. 5hrs total.summitter05/11/2023
From Binnein Shuas. Descended off the north end of the summit plateau at the 600m contour which involved one slightly awkward move. Looking back from below there looked to be a better grassy gully about 100 metres to the south east. After that plain sailing through long grass across the col and up to the attractive summit ridge. Back along the summit ridge, then descended towards Loch Laggan finding the gap in the old fence in the dip at the end of the much more robust deer fence. Easily through a woodland glade to the loch track and back to parking on the A86 near Luiblea.Owen B21/08/2023
From Binnein Shuas, NE then E down gully to col between two hills and then steady climb (over pleasantly dry ground) to summit. Weather significantly improved and wall to wall sunshine! Descent SW in a traverse to tree line. Followed deer fence to point where old and new fences meet and dropped down to track by Loch Laggan. Pleasant stroll back to car.MichaelF24/05/2023
From Binnein Shuas. Steep decent down an east facing gully to easy ground above Lochan an Earba and then an easy gradual accent to summit of Binnein Shios. From top descended to woodland above Loch Laggan. There is a broken section of fence at junction of deer fences at a boggy hollow which gives access to open woodland heading down to track along shoreline back to Moy.Jossker27/03/2023
Shios followed by Shuas in from Luibea. Good / challenging scrambling up from loch through bands of crags and pine forest remnants. Dry until deluge just after descent and 1h wait in rain for car.davechaffey18/03/2023
Biked in. Track more stony after junction NN 443822. Left bike NN 455809 to be picked up after descending Binnein Shaus. Along Lochan to crossing track between the lochs. Ground between Shios and Shaus tussocky grass. The gully up Shaus is nothing to fear - up or down. Very obvious, steep grassy climb starts at NN 4696 8295, topping out at NN 4660 8287carole engel08/08/2022
From Luiblea, straight line over both Grahams, then down through woods at tip of Shios to Lochan na Hearba track and back S. Overcast, Munros in cloud, better in evening. Sunburnt without sun. Rounsfell21/07/2022
From the good parking N of Gallovie Bridge approx. 556899. Easy track for biking, steady gradient out, good descent on return. Over bridge, climbs to the sawmill, then up through forestry along the side of the hill above Loch Laggan, continues (vs. map) to crossroads with the nicer track coming up from Ardverikie, left turn here up to Lochan na h-Earba, nicely repaired along the lochan. Neat single track hugs the SW shore to wooden bridge (left the bike), from where areas of easy short grass can be linked (otherwise rough stuff) to get up W of the trees onto the ridge where there is a vague path. Nice easy hill, fine views.Gill05/07/2022
From A86 parking (NN433830), cycled along tracks to bridge between Lochans na h-Earba (NN488841), then SW to col at NN478837, and zigzag up the NE ridge of Binnein Shuas, and worked through all the knolls to the summit, returned to col, then NE up SW ridge of Binnein Shios and worked through its knolls to the summit, returned SW, then straight down to the bridge, via a pinewood, cycled back to parking (4h20m from bridge [6h15m from A86]kdbennett02/06/2022

From parking area on A86 SW of Loch Laggan, bike to S end of northermost body of Lochan na h-Earba, then on foot over Shios and Shuas. Recorded route and write-up at: http://gayleybird.blogspot.com/2018/05/binnein-shios-binnein-shuas-and-meall.htmlGayle15/05/2018
Walked up from Gatehouse at Ardverikie Estate, up to Loch Earba around to saddle between the two Grahams then up to summit. Superb winter conditions, hard walk but views when offered were excellent. Long walk back to the cottage on estate. Brilliant winter's day walk. Company: Soloiandesbottes12/02/2018

Beautiful spring day. A great pair of hills.jenx16/03/2016
In combination with the Shuas. From Lubilea along the loch to below the col between the hills then steadily up Shios. Back to col then superb scramble up the Shuas through old snow. Good quick line back down to track and out.nordicstar16/03/2016
An awesome day. Clear blue skies, no wind but deep soft snow for much of the way making it hard going. Summitted with Pete Milne but bailed on Binnein Shaus due to conditions, failing to meet Martin McKay & Tim Dawson who had headed straight for our 2nd hillSpudGunn27/02/2016

Left car at Kinloch Laggan, hitched to Ardverikie, track to Earba bridge then direct up east ridge, down SE face to worn out track and long walk back to car. An awkward hill with many randon steep escarpments, may be easier albeit longer from west.Topographer5705/07/2014
We walked the long way round, which took 2 hours to get to the foot of the hill. cycling would have been better, but after that it was a steep climb up the hill (1hr) and we decided to shorten the day by heading over to the col and then descent on the north side of the hill avoiding the fenced forrest. back at the car in an hour and a half.tallblond15/06/2014

Solo. From parking area near bridge over Rive Spean. After ascending Binnein Shuas I continued to the summit of Binnein Shios passing over two minor tops before I got there. I descended S through a gap in the trees to the track beside Loch na h-Earba. The track was distinctly wet and muddy. It was in better condition once it joined the one on the other side of the loch.pwbellarby18/08/2012

Binnein Shios (NN492857) S/F NN487874 Perfect summer day - too hot by far!! Clear and sunny with no cloud, fresh wind pm making return paddle hard work. Paddle across Loch Laggan then follow forrest track to Lochan na h-earba. Steep climb with one difficult rocky bit so different route of discent. Fence posts provde a safe but steep decent south to lochan.John Young01/06/2011
