Visited Capple How, Sour Howes, Sallows, Yoke, Ill Bell, Froswick, Lingmell End, Mardale Ill Bell, High Street, Thornthwaite Crag, Caudale Moor - both Stony Cove Pike and John Bells's Banner, Pike How, Hart Crag, St Raven's Edge, and Troutbeck Tongue. From small layby N of the church. Deep powder snow on hill side. Turned off the Garburn Rd and followed wall up until due E of old quarry then direct to Sour Howes. On to Sallows, then across to here before returning. Not a long circuit, 9k, but enough in knee deep snow.jonglew20/01/2018
