Thought on the approach from Great Meldrum that this might be tricky as machinery around & evidence of very recent forestry work but no problem, deserted. | agentmancuso | 07/09/2023 |

The Hause - Watermillock Fell - LITTLE MELDRUM. Trickier than I expected since conifers hide the top from the north, plus a nasty fence and no sign of a gate! | citygent | 06/11/2017 |

Parked a bit N of the church taking the RoW SW until NY 4258 2257 then up steep rough ground to some high ground N of the tarn. Dropped down through conifers, round the jet black water of the tarn and up onto Little Meldrum. On to Great Meldrum. Probably easier to tackle this from Watermillock Fell. | jonglew | 23/07/2017 |
After Great Meldrum, return to car along Ullswater Way, descent through Yew Crag in the dark. On my own. | alwaysinshorts | 23/03/2017 |
When are a few stones not a cairn? Probably not in this case, but highest point obvious anyway. From Watermillock Fell, then onto Great Meldrum via a good grassy path, climbing locked wooden gate into access land | Hillsidenick | 25/01/2017 |

3849 and 3851 from north - stroll+ | destaylor | 30/07/2015 |
Came at it from Little Mell South Top through the trees by the little lake which was interesting. There is a path all the way around the trees that I returned on that is easier. | simon and co | 18/06/2015 |
If travelling from Gowbarrow keep outside of the wood. If travelling from the north beware of logging operations at the end of the private track. They aren't too friendly! | moorsman | 05/03/2015 |
Cracking walk, parked at Watermillock church and did the 5 tops and came back along the low level path. Saw deer, red squirrel, frozen waterfall and not a lot of people. No pressures and bimbled along at my own leasurely pace taking in the views etc. very snowy and icy, could have done with my crampons for the road and paths! 5 Birketts and 1 Wainright. | Mark T | 04/02/2015 |
From Watermillock Fell passing intermediate hill to NE of wood which seemed higher than Little Meldrum. Then through wood with tarn (looked frozen solid but daren't try it) and out other side. Summit is rocky knoll with a few stones. Continued to Great Meldrum. | Aye Jimmy | 03/02/2015 |
first ascent, Showers and then heavy rain, warm, solo. dropped off at the hause climbed little mell fell, back to road & over the fence, Underwood, Little Meldrum, Great Meldrum, Gowbarrow Fell, minor ring contour and down to the path to the nt.'s aira force carpark to be collect. | rum doodle | 07/06/2014 |
