A short day with Dave bagging the Tilberthwaite Birketts. Parked at High Tilberthwaite carpark, walked to Cathedral Quarry cavern and Slaters Bridge then up to Great Intake, High Fell, Hawk Rigg, Haystacks (Tilberthwaite) and Blake Rigg. Constant drizzle, some heavier showers, a grey wet day; but mild and no wind.Skip01/12/2018

Headed incorrectly for the attractive summit of Great Intake immediately ahead of the rough terrain descending from Birk Fell. Doubled back to climb the step stile and lovely soft warm turf to the top. Lovely.Karmakarl14/04/2018
