From Low Wythow. From High Tilberthwaite - free NT car parking - yes, it's not Pay & Display! Lots of knolls, bracken and marsh, trackless terrain.Isbjorn11/10/2020
Thick cloud on The Old Man so we opted for a potter around his lower Fells. From the village up the Mine Road then north along the narrow path to Lad Stones. In cloud so headed back down to Kitty Crag, Long Crag, High Wythow, Low Wythow and Brackeny Crag. Back to the village via Yewdale Crag and then a hairy, bracken camouflaged path.summitter16/07/2020

A short day with Dave and Tony bagging Birketts. We left Dave's car at High Tilberthwaite carpark then drove in my car to meet Tony in Conniston. Walked along the lane to Coppermines Cottages then up to Kitty Crag, Long Crag, High Wythow, Low Wythow and Brackeny Crag before descended to High Tilberthwaite carpark. Poor visibility in the drizzle and rain; an unpleasantly wet day with gusty wind.Skip02/12/2018
