Last day of 2 week fine spell forecast so decided to finish the Eskdale fells. From valley path above Doctor Bridge via an excellent path onto Kepple Fell. Intermittent path continued to Whinscales and Crook Crag - GPS necessary to determine Whinscales summit from Crook Crag outliers. Returned by same route.BURGESS22/06/2021

From 17096 17704 did a round of Great Crag, Broad Crag, Great Worm Crag, Iron Crag, Wallowbarrow Heald, White How, Green Crag, Crook Crag, Great Whinscale, Dow Crag and Kepple Crag. Great and varied walk although the last four miles hurt a lot as I damaged my leg.clivevilla03/06/2021
Woolpack Inn > Green Crag > Crook Crag > Kepple Crag > Woolpack Inn. Me and H. Forecast showers but dry and sunny until the last mile or so. Very warm and humid. Missed Great Whinscale, why pick such and innocuous lump?johnkaysleftleg16/05/2021
