From the col with Carn Ealar. Cloud came down on summit so no view. Continued east and descended to the east of Coire an Tobair. Very enjoyable cycle ride back to Linn of Dee as its slightly down hill with a following wind.mindlessflogger21/03/2016

Bikes to geldie lodge, marginal river crossing, hike to summit and spent a night in Tarf hotel. With Adam.sotabagger06/08/2015
UAfter a day's respite after our 3 summits on Grey Corries we had moved to Braemar. We set off from Linn of Dee by bike into a stiff breeze traversing the level track to the first of two significant river crossings, passing Geldie Lodge. Rob removed his socks and was rapidly cooled before we started the ascents of first An Sarsoch and then Carn an Fhidhleir. The hills were rounded grassy and clear of cloud throughout. Coming down we passed through fields of snow. Recrossing streams with bikes and then a strong following wind permitted an almost hysterical rate of traverse of tracks that have given up the kilometres so reluctantly in the morning. Getting back to Braemar our lodge accommodation was ideal.david.walker4011/05/2015
Camped next to the Geldie Burn. The day before the rivers were impassable due to snow melt. Not today though as there was a heavy frost. Great views.Play2End06/04/2015
Round of Beinn Dearg, Carn Ealer, An Sgarsoch, Tarf Hotel and Carn a Chlamain from Atholl rifle range. Day 42 of 59 for all Munros. 39km, +/-2300m, 11 hours.PGCE19/05/2014
Cycled from Linn of Dee to just above Geldie Lodge, then climbed Carn an Fhidhleir and An Sgarsoch. Scorching hot day (over 20C on summits!) made the walk rather demanding!jonbowyer20/07/2013
With Anne & Ruth Sinclair. Cycled into Geldie Lodge, fell in at a river crossing felt good to cool down. Very hot a tough day. I did not feel very well on the steeper parts of the ascent will have to look into this.LizzieG19/07/2013

Climbed with Andy while staying at Ling Hut on DMC trip. Cycled in from Glen Feshie. Reasonable day but some patches of cloud and snow at the top causing poor visibility. A bit unsettling coming off Carn an Fhidhleir as there was a high avalanche risk (few inches of fresh snow on top of ice).amcculloch16/03/2013
Crap weather. Unable to cross with bike at 2nd ford. Long walk around scarsoch bearg, very wind and rainy/ Big cairn at top.Jhimmy13/09/2012
2nd of 2. Took a wrong turn off top and pretty much to turn back on myself. Dropped to boggy belach before ascent to peak. Off North and around bump and back to path. Easier cycle out. 50.3km, 1270m, 9hr55.bowzi01/09/2012
