From Gurlet over its N top, then over wet ground and up to the summit. Good views to Beinn a'Ghlo. On to Crungie Dubh.LizH29/01/2024
4 of 6: From Gurlet North Top. Then NE crossing Leathad Mor. The Clunskea Burn took a while to cross. I used a submerged rock, Tim did an impressive long jump. Down to Norman's hut for lunch.ChrisR20/11/2023

Parked at Dalnavaid. Track through Clunskea, then back over 2 Simms: Crungie Clach and Gurlet.PGCE21/07/2020

From Dalnavaid Bridge (plenty of parking) we to the abandoned farmhouses and took a NNW bearing to avoid the steepest crags of Stronhayie Craig. This turned out to be a good decision as a series of sheep and deer tracks interlinked to get us to a midpoint between Stronhayie Craig and Gurlet. Once Gurlet bagged it was a simple matter of horseshoeing around the boggy land between the North Top (scaled the boulder!), Crungie Clach (great name) and Crungie Dubh, using as many snow patches en route as possible to keep clean and dry. Returned via an ATV track picked up just north of Balgholan Craig that becomes a firmer track once below Stronhayie Craig.summitter22/03/2020
From Dalnavaid via Gurlet. Then on to Bad an Tuirc (the hut at 006664 is unlocked) and finally Creag an t-Sithein, then down to Tarvie. Frozen ground helped.NormanW10/01/2020
From tent 100 metres or so up the track by the memorial. Followed this for some way then lost it but found another path (this one not on the map) which took a higher, better line to east of Carn Geal(Ct) summit then directly up this on decent ground. All in cloud which continued along ridge to Meall Breac(Gt). Cloud cledared by now form pleasant and gentle crossing to Crungie Clach(Gt). Dropped west of south to cross stream and join forest edge, up firebreak and down forest track back to road.On drop down to stream came across a Red Deer skull with very impressive set of antlers still attached. Large but in poor condition, obviously a couple of years old at least.dickscroop19/05/2019

From SE, Clunskea, good track after vague start. With Rod Munro. Then on to the Gurlet tops. First-light start, quick 4-hill circuit before the Birnam Hill celebrations.RHW16/11/2014
