After Caillich then down heathery NW ridge. Tracks marked on 1:25k map down to Milton are very overgrown and indistinct so it was a fairly rough descent.sclater06/07/2023

Descent to Badaguish pretty unpleasantly wet underfoot until you reach the proper forestry paths. Running the ridgeline inc Meall a' Bhuachaille, Creagan Gorm, Creag a' Chaillich and Craiggowrie. With GFE.Fionalevey04/08/2019
10.8 mile walk from visitors centre, along forest track up to Ryvoan Bothy then very good path up onto Meall a'Bhuachaille then along ridge to Creagan Gorm, Creag a' Chailleach and Craigowrie, desending via boggy eroded path back to forest then along forest lanes back to the car. Changeable weather sunny/cloudy with showers but very windy, the big Cairngorms kept going in and out of cloud/showers, busy on Meall a' Bhuachaille, but not so busy on the rest of the ridge, great circular with great views.DanTrig18/06/2019
From the visitor centre. Pretty decent path to Meall a' Bhuachaille, then over more muddy ground to Creagan Gorm, Creag a' Chaillich, and Craiggowrie; returning through The Queen's Forest. Takes about 3.5 hrs in total.summitter28/12/2018

Cairngorm Club bus meet. I shared the driving of a minibus with Ken Thomson. The party ascended Meall a' Bhuachaille from the north, although there were some variations. We left minibus somewhat east of Torehill Cottage. We walked along road past cottage and turned left on to track going south. This was followed - there was some dispute about navigation. The track became a path and then petered out so we continued up the hillside to the summit of Meall a' Bhuachaille. We proceeded along the ridge west and north west over Creagan Gorm (732m), Creag a' Chaillich (711m) and Craiggowrie (687m). We descended NE, crossed the Craiggowrie Burn, followed the side of a wood and then a track back to the road about 1 1/2 km from Torehill Cottage. Clear with excellent views of snow-covered peaks.pwbellarby13/11/2005

First outing with RBS HWC, Graeme Anderson and Pat. Walks were led. Roy Aird was the nominated leader for Meall a Bhuachaille. Route as described in notice: From the campsite opposite Loch Morlich YH follow the track E past Glenmore Lodge then generally NE past An Lochan Uaine to reach Ryvoan Bothy. Take the path W uphill to the summit of the Bhuachaille which gives superb views S over Loch Morlich and the whole Cairngorm range. Alternatively, continue the ridge walk by following the well worn path over three tops generally in a NW direction. From the last top Craiggowrie descend S into the forest to reach Badaguish from where a forest track is followed SE to return to Glen More.langskill30/07/2000
