Approach along road from Rineton. Parking on B976 at Braenaloin. return over hills.sarahk10/04/2021
A great walk from Braenaloin. Cold day, needing the wind behind me on the hills, so I walked up the Gairn track to Corndavon Lodge. Good track almost all the way up Tom Breac then ATV ruts close to the top. Summit is a bog, away from the track. Fine views of Culardoch, Ben Avon and Brown Cow Hill. Track continues over the top but heading the wrong way for my route, so down the E ridge to Duchrie Burn, vague track then rough stuff near the burn. Surprisingly large burn. Step over fence near gate, more rough stuff to pick up track heading over An Creagan, revisited. Lovely views on way down SE. Joined track N to Blairglass then back to Rinetin, old way markers show line of path. Wildcat seen during the walk but I won't say where!Gill27/03/2021
Solo. From start of track at NO260981. After ascending An Creagan continued on track towards Tom Breac until it petered out. Continued to summit of Tom Breac. No feature at highest point although there is a cairn beside a track that comes in from the north. The cairn is not at the highest point. Continued to Carn Tiekeiver. Beautiful warm and sunny day.pwbellarby25/05/2017
A late start to avoid worst of forecast 70mph winds which worked though wind still very strong and occasional hail. from end of military road on B976 via An creagan to Tom Breac abnd back by same route. Had to go further SW thamn expected to cross the stream between them.dickscroop22/02/2017
Ascent from Glen Feardar via Culardoch. The hill is very easy from the east. (Descent route). The summit is boggy with no obvious marker and is somewhat indistinct. Good views of Ben Avon and Lochnagar.fasgadh02/09/2012
