From large layby on A939 at NJ224151, followed good track up to a col, then less distinct tracks near fence line to summit os Beinn a' Chruinnich, continued at first SW the SSW across col and up Carn Ealasaid mostly on tracks, then NW swinging to W across the heather, sedge and some peat hags to summit of Tolm Bùirich, then N following intermittent ATV tracks to Carn Breac, meeting the turning loop of a track from the W, but continuing on NNW, downslope on a foottrack along the line of grouse butts, crossed Allt Nuadh, skirted Lurg Mullaich, crossed Allt Blairnamarrow to an old ATV track that led up to the A939, and returned to the start (3h45m)kdbennett21/03/2022

3 of 5: From Carn Ealasaid and again on our return leg. Peat hags and heather. There is a stile over the electric fence 3 minutes west. With Karen.ChrisR09/11/2021
Easy track all the way to the summit of Carn Ealasaid from the A939 north of the Cock Bridge bridge, then more challenging heather 'n' hag terrain to Tolm Buirich and Craig Veann. The trudge over the lower Carn Bad a' Ghuail and Foal's Craig offered little respite, and the so-called path SE of The Eag was impossible to find until it becomes a legit grouse-blasters track. Being suckers for heathery punishment we nonetheless pressed on to bag Druim Bhuirich and Tom Dunan, enjoying a quick skinny-dip in the Allt Reppachie to cool sore limbs and bodies before the hot track-traipse back to Loinherry and the A939.summitter18/07/2021
Walked W over open moorland from Carn Ealasaid187lenny27/12/2020
Started from Corgarff Castle, along River Don and then onto hill tracks which peter out towards the top. Deer fence crosses summit of Craig Veann. Then continued on peaty ground to Tolm Burich and the higher Carn Ealasaid. Descended to Cairn Vaich and down track to Loinherry, then to the road and back to the castle. 21km.PiranhaFish27/09/2020
A circuit from Queen's View with Jenx, Nordicstar and Bryher. Shooting track from Birchfield, lunch terminated by midges. Branch track W of Carn Breac, past butts and squidgy veg on to Tolm Buirich, then ridge to Craig Veann, more veg except for tiny area of nice heather at top. Vile, midge infested veg to col, then very nice walk on track then short heather over Liath Beinn with superb views, track back to Glen Avon.Gill17/08/2020
