Made a bit of a hash of tis. Was planned as a two day round but did not work out. Walked in to about half way along the lock, cut up to the ridge, took in the NW top, along to main top and back to pack. n to bothy which I now find is closed, I had missed the sign art the start. Spent the night in the quite decent howf. Set off to continue the round in the morning but realised I was not up to it. Quite some time since I had carried a sack due to Covid. | dickscroop | 24/04/2022 |

With Rhona Fraser. From car park at Victoria Falls. After climbing Baosbheinn. Descended and went between Gorm Loch Fada and Gorm Loch na Beinne. Climbed up the south ridge of Beinn an Eoin, finding a FB route (FB=Fraser Bellarby) Higher up took a somewhat exposed line in true FB style. Reached the summit of Beinn an Eoin. Went down the NW ridge over minor bumps*, then to a wee lochan and to the shores of Loch Garbhaig and hence to the starting point. A superb day. *One of which was subsequently identified as Beinn an Eoin North Top. | pwbellarby | 11/05/1996 |
from the NW a clockwise circuit over Beinn an Eoin and Baosbheinn. John Fleetwood had expressed concern that he hoped I wouldn't be too slow so I started walking immediately I got out of the car while the others were still getting ready and decided, once out of sight to really push myself and jog down some slopes to see how far I coulsd get before John caught me up. manged to get 6 kilometres and half way up the northern slopes of the hill before he caught up. I was quite chuffed. | vegibagger | 11/04/1996 |
