|48km from Black Bridge, 12 hours, and I still didn't get up it. Got within 1km but left col at 8:20pm, strong cold wind, left summit for another day. Steep descent to bridge, long weary return, bike little help owing to fierce wind and dark, midnight back at car.||alda||18/04/2018|
|Overnight backpack from Black bridge taking in An Socach, Bodach Beag, Carn Ban and on return the TuMP of Cnoc na h-Iolare just off the track running along Loch Vaich. Some rain and mist so limited views of the surrounding mountains.
