Repeat, happy to deploy the head above summit rule this time !chalky195320/04/2019
From Beinn Tarsuinn. Moderate scramble along/under slabs. Only proper difficult section is ~4m crux ~40m south of summit. Have heard arm and leg shimmy could work but I opted for simply a big jump. Accessed true summit by flopping onto boulder from smaller one beside and slowly shuffling upper body up. Descended very precariously to W shortly after, after viewing section requiring ropes.iangpark19/05/2018
if you're not a climber, this summit can be reached from its northern flank - NR 96802 42422. All that is required is a steep walk up the grassy slope to the marked path adjacent the top. From here, there is only one scramble move with no exposure to attain the summit area. To complete the climb onto the summit rock itself is impossible.......carole engel10/05/2018

Solo ridge traverse from Glenrosa camp site to Cir Mhor. Some tricky moves attaining the top, ones I wouldn't like to have to descend. Also some tricky route finding down the other side. ***10 May 2018 re-ascent: We attacked A' Chir from NR 9674 4281, following a deer trod to park our backpacks at NR 9676 4232 then taking easy, but steep, grassy slopes almost to the top where a short scramble attained the summit.jonglew19/11/2017
My final Arran P100m hill, from Glen Rosa, track/path to slopes on Beinn a' Chliabhain, stiff quick pull up to summit then on to A'Chir ridge in hope of meeting Rob or Jon at summit block. Hard but fair scrambling along ridge following a faint path in places on the West side of main ridge, avoids most difficulties until a short section of down climbing is found. Easy pull up to summit, 25 mins crossing time. Met Rob there and we gave a foot up to each to stand on summit block. Back same way with the climb hard in greasy, cold conditions. Saw Jon coming through on ridge as we were half way back. Great little outing.nordicstar19/11/2017
After N top, back to W traverse path then back up to ridge via steep path starting directly W of col, some tricky scrambling to and along N ridge, with a little ice on slabs. Rick arrived (from the S) just after I did from N, so we could help each other up onto the summit block, then we reversed his route back via the mauvais pas, which is about V Diff.RHW19/11/2017
Took a bigger rucksack than usual filled with light stuff which was enough to stand on and gain a first hold !chalky195310/09/2016
4th hill of 10 on an epic and challenging route from Brodick to Corrie via Glen Rosa, up beside the Garb Allt to Beinn Nuiss, Beinn Tarsuinn, Beinn Chliabain then onto the ridge. The Summit boulder took anout 10mins to figure out but i eventually hauled myself up by finding some holds on the side. I stood up and proclaimed with a joyful shriek, A'Chir is mine!! I continued on keeping high to the crux move, down a ledge to access the ground at Le Mauvais pas. Fantastic scrambling.Dazingdale13/05/2016
Enroute to a last Corbett gathering on Beinn Tarsuin. Long walk along the ridge from Lochranza . Great fun scrambling along the ridge. Managed to belly-flop onto the top of the highest boulder from the one below.amswanston09/05/2015
See Beinn Tarsuinn. Cheated a bit really by dropping down east side at northern end and up grassy slopes to summit.dickscroop16/05/2014

Glen Rosa round from Goatfell to Beinn Nuis. Suspected that egg shaped stone just over the summit could be highest point. Tried to get up but slid back. Threw a stone at it and wondered if that was a 'bag'. Tried again and stood on it.Eddie19/05/1993

A foot up from Mark and then vice versa conquered the awakward summit block. Great scrambling which concentrated the mind above big drops, and as for the descent down that sloping shelf to the bealach ... I dithered for ages swinging my leg over and lowering down the last drop to the bealach where Mark who had gone first could not see what the problem was. Then ran like the clappers down the glen to catch the ferry - it was actually moving off but they shoved the gang plank back up for us to run up with seconds to spare - very dodgy!Chris Pearson20/04/1987
