Run from Beinglas down the WHW to Inversnaid, then over Stob an Fhainne, Beinn a' Choin, Maol an Fhithich, Maol an Fhithich West Top, Stob nan Eighrach and Beinn Ducteach. | quadbarrel | 24/03/2024 |
Cycled into Glen Gyle from Stronachlachar then easy slope up to Beinn Ducteach North Top. Before her West and big sister could be tackled there was the wee matter of Cruach to wander over to. Stob nan Eighrach was next, followed the two Maol an Fhithich outcrops. Back down to the awaiting bike in Glen Gyle, which sped me to a desperately needed cold drink and ice cream at the Stronachlachar cafe on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year to date. | summitter | 04/06/2023 |
Verge parking at NN 3204 1988 for a circuit of 15 summits. Track to the Ben Glas Burn, then ATV goes most of the way to Maol an Fhithich. 6/15 | PGCE | 26/04/2023 |
I cycled from Stronachlachar up Glen Gyle to 361150 without problem. A round of 2 Simms, this hill and a further 3 sub tumps. Descended from Ducteach to the end of the Glen Gyle road, about 500m North of where I had left my bike. | NormanW | 19/03/2023 |
The track up Glen Gyle has been washed away or covered in rubble in several places and the steep bits have had the small grush washed out leaving a very rough pebbly surface. I dumped the bike after 1K. The heat haze prevented any decent photos. | Kiltie | 07/06/2022 |

From Inverarnan Inn, walked with 2 bros & neph to Doune Bothy intent on bagging Beinn a'Choin. Long, tricky climb up Stob nan Eighrach thru' thick ferns forced change of plan. Saw deer, goats & a snake! Removed 12 ticks at home. Long, enjoyable day. | AndyBlair1972 | 20/08/2005 |
