Parked at Loch Moraig, following the Beinn A'Ghlo track through the gate and 200 yards past the small wood before making a beeline for the S end of the lozenge-shaped wood and Meall Mor. Easy walking, excellent views and wildlife (geese, ducks, hawks, roe deer).Nick Down114/10/2023
Nice leg stretch from the walker's carAndrew Simmons13/08/2023
A clockwise circuit of the hills surrounding Loch Moraig. Started at the walkers CP and took track to Cnoc Monzie. Another track then heather tramp to Meall Mor. More heather to Creag Eallaich, following a fence line to the summit woodland. Quite a big heathery drop en route to Creag nan Ceard, but easier climb over grazed fields to the top. Track and road back to the CP.summitter11/08/2023

Used minor road past Killiekrankie battle site, then glen track though pheasantry. Easy going, and then just short heather to top ofMeall Mor. On to Craig Eallaich with its forested top. Steep down south back to track. With B and R.jenx27/10/2020
Parked at the Beinn a'Ghlo car park near the end of the road, by Loch Moraig. Walked up the track to the 390m contour, then across to a gate at the N tip of the wood, and over rough grass to the summit.LizH18/10/2020
A good 9 top round from loch moraig, cnoc monzie, beinn bheag, sron an h innearach, stac nam bodach, meall breac, creag nan yailey, meall mor, creag eallaich, creag nan ceard.robertphillips13/07/2019
Solo trip from the L. Moraig parking spot. This is one best done in dry or frosty weather, not that the ground is all that boggy but parts are heavily poached by cattle. Very fine view of Beinn a' Ghlo.Invicta1417/04/2019
After Creag nan Ceard (tump). Biting North wind and icy stretches on approach road to usual Beinn a Ghlo parking. Then on to Cnoc Monzie.NormanW12/11/2017
From the Loch Moraig car parking area, followed Beinn a'Ghlo track for 0.75 k before branching off across pasture and up gentle grassy slopes.Campbell Singer28/08/2016

Evening walk from the Killiecrankie NTS car park, up Glen Girnaig and past the abandoned Lycondlich. Good area for wild flowers - we saw frog orchids on that occasion.Rod M05/07/2001
