A 2hr circular walk from the path through Clune Hill Wood. This gives access to Clune Hill, then SW to Culhawk Hill, from where a landcover track goes across the hill ridge to the fort on Castle Hill. The track continues eastwards to the road and along to the track up to Meams Hill. Returned to the car via the road, which is pretty quiet. | summitter | 25/08/2022 |
Parked on bend by gate to N. Most trees have been felled. Along track to 2nd gate, then straight up to summit via hatch gate. Onwards to Culhawk Hill. | Minto | 18/12/2021 |
From gate to NE, Then on to Culhawk Hill. Sunny and above the low lying fog banks. | NormanW | 18/12/2021 |
Parked at the gate at the track end to Clunehill Wood (felled and mixed replanting). Followed Belfarm's route, which still applies through the new trees. Interesting little 'gate hatch'. Pleasant short walk with good views from the summit. | LizH | 17/11/2021 |
Park at track gate. Through gate, second rough track on left loops into the track going straight up the old fire break. Left along fence, still on track to climb through hatch, saving climbing fence. Head up to obvious minor Crag, track close by which goes over summit. | Belfarm | 24/08/2020 |

From road corner SE of Balloch. West along track as far as end of cleared area, then up the north face alongside the uncleared wood, to avoid a new, barbed and rabbit wired fence along the east part of the north face. | Topographer57 | 20/10/2017 |
